When I'm styling an outfit for a special day or even sometimes making a loose plan for the week a lot of times I'll take a while balancing out all the prints and colors and silhouettes so everything is just right. But some of the best outfits come together more spontaneously, more off the cuff. Sometimes overthinking and second-guessing with an outfit, or pre-planning a wardrobe can backfire. There is something to be said about wearing what feels right in the here and now. Sometimes an outfit might fit perfectly with your mood when you're planning it, and then doesn't feel right when you're ready to wear it.
The Outfit and About it:
Forever 21 Cardigan. Forever has a number of different colors of these cardigans, and I love them! I got this taupe one and (big surprise) a mustard one. They make for an easy added layer to just about any outfit and fit very comfortably.
Forever 21 polka dot shirt. A shirt like this in a classic print such as these polka dots or some stripes is a pretty good staple piece going into the wintry months.
Forever 21 Military Pants. I have a pair of shorts of very similar design, so when I saw these I jumped at the opportunity to sport this military style into the chilly days.
